As children and teens are at different developmental stages to adults, doing therapy with them is a little different. I have a varienty of different techniques that I use to tailor my sessions to the appropriate patient.
Some of the modalities I incorporate include:
Play therapy
Art therapy
Movement therapy
Breathing exercises
Yoga poses
I enjoy working with children as young as 3 years old but am currently only seeing children 10 years and older due to the nature of telehealth and the challenges virtual therapy entails for younger children.
